JOB SUMMARY
The Admin Assistant serves as a vital operational anchor within the team, operating under the direct supervision of the Programs Officer. This role is designed to bridge administrative efficiency with fieldwork support, ensuring that day-to-day programmatic activities run smoothly and effectively.
The ideal candidate will act as a key connector- liaising between internal team members, external stakeholders, participants, and suppliers- while managing essential logistical, procurement, and data management tasks. Because the role involves supporting field missions and adapting to challenging work conditions, the Admin Assistant must be versatile, highly organized, and capable of maintaining productivity and meeting deadlines in our work environments.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direct supervision of the programs officer the Admin Assistant will support the team with the following tasks:
• Contributing to the implementing, coordinating, and organizing of our activities and covering field missions.
• Communicating and following up with participants, suppliers, and different stakeholders.
• Data entry tasks.
• Support procurement processes and manage both physical and electronic documentation systems.
• Perform logistical tasks as assigned by the line manager.
• Performing other tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Should have the following skills, education, and experience:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
• High communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Good English skills, especially the written.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• High flexibility in performing various tasks as required.
• Adaptability to challenging work conditions.
• Commitment to completing tasks on time.
