ملخص الوظيفة:
يدعم أخصائي النطق والتخاطب سير العمل في مركز التأهيل من خلال استقبال الحالات وتقييم واضطرابات النطق واللغة والبلع بكفاءة. يقوم بتشخيص مشاكل التواصل وبناء الخطط العلاجية وتحديثها، وتوجيه الأهالي والمرضى إلى الإرشادات المناسبة، والرد على استفساراتهم بشكل مهني ولطيف. كما يلتزم بالحفاظ على سرية المعلومات الطبية، والتنسيق مع الفريق الطبي والتربوي والإداري لضمان تقديم خدمات تأهيلية منظمة وفعّالة وتحسين جودة حياة المرضى داخل المنشأة.

Job Title: Speech and Language Pathologist

Job Summary:
The Speech and Language Pathologist supports the workflow at the rehabilitation center by efficiently receiving cases and assessing speech, language, and swallowing disorders. The specialist diagnoses communication problems, develops and updates treatment plans, guides parents and patients to appropriate instructions, and responds to their inquiries in a professional and polite manner. Furthermore, the specialist is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of medical information and coordinating with the medical, educational, and administrative teams to ensure the delivery of organized and effective rehabilitation services, ultimately improving the patients' quality of life within the facility.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1- Receive cases and clients, and conduct initial assessments and diagnoses to determine the type of speech or language disorder.
2- Develop and update individualized treatment plans for patients, and regularly document case progress in their medical and rehabilitation files.
3- Provide consultations and guidance to patients' families, and answer their inquiries regarding the nature of the disorder and the home-treatment plan.
4- Manage therapy session time efficiently, and prepare the room environment to be stimulating, safe, and quiet to ensure patient responsiveness and focus.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
1. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences, Speech therapy, or Communication Disorders.
2. Full knowledge of standard assessment tools, language tests, and articulation assessments.
3. Ability to work under pressure, with great patience and flexibility when dealing with challenging cases.
4. Mastery of effective communication skills with children, adults, and parents.
5. Strong skills in writing medical and periodic reports to accurately monitor case development.
