Job Title: ICU technician (Intensive Care Unit technician )
Job location: Syria – Idleb – Darkosh Hospital
Report to: ICU doctors
JOB SUMMARY
The ICU technician provides direct patient care support in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) by monitoring patient conditions, assisting nurses and physicians with procedures, operating and maintaining medical equipment, collecting specimens, recording vital signs, and ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient clinical environment. Supports the healthcare team in delivering high-quality care to critically ill patients while adhering to hospital policies and patient safety standards.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Working within the project carried out by MG organization at Al-Rahma Hospital - Idlib.
2. Working and supervising the Intensive Care Unit.
3. implementing the instructions of the supervising physician.
4. Maintaining order and smooth operation of the Intensive Care Unit,
5. Monitoring and maintaining the devices and equipment, and reporting any deficiencies or malfunctions to the
hospital manager.
6. Requesting necessary materials and medications for the intensive Care Unit as needed, through the hospital's
administrative officer.
7. Receiving necessary training for the efficient and serious implementation of the project.
8. implementing the instructions of the direct manager.
Requirements and Skills:
The ICU Nurse should have the following skills, education, and experience:
1, Diploma from a medical or healthcare institute.
2. Experience working for at least 2 years in adult care departments.
3, Experience in providing first aid and initial procedures to receive any emergency cases within the hospital.
4. Ability to handle work pressure.
5. Working in a team spirit and collaborating with the team to provide services at the highest levels.
