Job Title: Media Assistant- Daily Worker

Job location: Syria – (Deir Ezzor, Homs, Damascus)

Reports to: Communication and media officer

MedGlobal is a global humanitarian non-profit organization providing medical and health education services to people in need, including refugees and displaced persons, in disaster and underserved regions. The organization is composed of medical and public health professionals of diverse backgrounds.


JOB SUMMARY

To contribute to the production of visual and media content for MedGlobal Organization by performing photography, design, and video editing tasks professionally, reflecting the organization's identity and communication goals accurately and effectively.


MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Media Assistant  – Media Department (Photography / Design / Video Editing( has the following responsibilities and duties:

 

1. Carry out photography and video recording sessions for MedGlobal events and activities.

2. Edit and produce video materials using editing software (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, or equivalent).

3. Design visual materials and digital advertisements (posters, social media posts, stories, web designs).

4. Coordinate with the media team to define campaign requirements.

5. Archive and organize media files within an accessible database.

6. Adhere to MedGlobal’s visual identity standards in all designs and videos.

7. Assist in covering field events or live broadcasts.

8. Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of all media equipment.

9. Perform any other duties assigned by the direct supervisor within the scope of work.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Should have the following skills, education, and experience:

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:

  (Media, Film Production, Photography, Graphic Design, Video Editing, or related field)

or at least two years of professional experience in media production, design, and editing
