Job Title: Nurse
Job location: Syria – Albab PHC
Report to: Facility Admin Officer
JOB SUMMARY
The nurse will provide medical services and assist doctors.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Nurse has the following responsibilities and duties:
1. Perform daily nursing activities to fulfill the technical requirements of the resettlement countries in the areas of medical examinations.
2. Checking vital signs, weight, height, visual acuity.
3. Blood, urine or sputum collection as required.
4. Treatment and referrals;
5. Pre-departure procedures and medical movements;
6. Documentation, certification and information transmission; and,
7. Other technical areas may be required
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Should have the following skills, education, and experience:
1. Nursing institute, nursing school, or nursing college degree.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience working in humanitarian field
3. Experience in first aid and medical case management.
4. Ability to handle work pressure and collaborate within a team.
5. Familiarity with hospitals, medical centers, and available specialties within their working area.
6. Physical fitness for working as an emergency medical technician.
